YQ,

Once upon a time I fancied myself a movie buff: during the heady days of reporatory theatre in Cambridge (and environs) I soaked up the celluloid and viewed more films than you can imagine.

While living happily ever after I discover that my wife is bored to contempt by the movies I bring home from the vault.

Can you resolve this controversie?

I believe everybody has their own style of movies that they enjoy most - so I wouldn't be too surprised that your wife not enjoying your favorites too much, besides, I found your taste of movies was quite elusive as well.... LOL

The movies in this blog that I listed with a score of 8 or 9 are the ones I enjoy the most, and that mostly resonate with george's taste as well.
